Knowing your markup for Ning forum posts

While Ning (which this networking site is based on, just in case anyone hadn't noticed) certainly has lots of potential, there's plenty still to be ironed out.

How frustrating, for example, that in forum posts, they've not chosen to implement the wysiwyg tool bar (bold, italics and most important link etc) that is already there in the blogging section of the site.

It is indeed! Ning developers do seem to be taking notice of the community and the site is clearly developing well.

Well I use Mozilla Firefox and I must admit there is a subtle difference in user experience while browsing Ning from Mozilla Firefox. Sometimes the browser window hangs, pages take time to load etc.

I use Firefox as well and don't have those problems Daksh, but I friend of mine can't get Ning to load at all in Firefox. Seems like there may be a problem somewhere with Ning. I wonder whether there's a Firefox security setting that it doesn't like.
