Coming back to the podcast I've been following an interesting search engine Yoople (http://www.yoople.net).
It's a web2.0/ajaxified ( hope not being too technical) human powered search engine and allows users to sort search results according to their preferences. Try searching for "alex bellinger" on Yoople.
