What needs to change at Business Link?

Lots of people sadly say they have had a bad experience and that Business Link's array of retired bankers and accountants (is that true?) offer pretty run-of-the-mill advice.

Have any of you guys used them and what are your experiences of them? How do they need to change?

Lots I would say. I have tried to get advice twice in the last year with no success.

It all starts quite well but never seem to come to anything. I don’t know if its because they don’t understand my business or what, but I have found them frustrating, and to be honest I would be hard pressed to go back to them again. I would rather get my advice from mentor or friend.
