Bid for work sites

Dear All,

I would like to ask you all if you know of any websites where an Fabricator/Welder like myself would be able to post work for bid or where i could bid for work?

I have seen a great site for couriers which called CourierExchange where this happens already, but i have never seen a site like it for fabricator/welders.

If you have any ideas please drop me a line. Maybe i am coming at it from the wrong angle and you have a suggestion. Any thoughts at all please let me know.

Try http://www.butlersheetmetal.com/tinbasherblog/ whilst the writer is a grouchy bugger I'm sure that will set you off on the right track.

There are a number of trade sites that get people to quote for tenders. Personally we can't be bothered with them. Not sure how IT literate trades people are generally, most seem to hate Tinternet?
