This is more a plea for info rather than a blog! Can anyone tell me the copyright rules for photos downloaded from microsoft office. I have used a photo of an elderly lady and she is not selling or endorsing my service, she is there to highlight my target market. I cannot find any info as to whether I have to pay for or register use of this image.Can anyone enlighten me please?

I have been round in circles trying to organise some Public Liability insurance and this has held my business up. I have been given quotes via the net and phone from £1400 to £399. I decided to go and see a local broker face to face and explain exactly what I am offering and ended up with a quote for £120pa. For a sole trader start up who is on a budget this was a massive saving. I would advise everyone to shop around especially if what you offer does not easily fit a catagory. Hope you are all progressing well in your ventures and I would love communication from anyone offering a non-web-based service.
