What a long time since I've updated - I did another charity fair but it was hardly worth the effort. If I am paying a fixed fee then the organisers need to make some effort to push the customers past my stall. This one was almost designed to minimise sales - only one stall out of 10 did really well. However, I was able to listen to comments on my new items and even sell a bit. I've now added more freshwater pearl items to the range (must put some photos of those on here).

Yesterday was a charity sale which I take a table at each year. It is in the next village, a village full of ladies who need silk scarves, I'm happy to say.
I did not quite as well as last year, but that was the situation on every stall. Even so it was well worth the effort involved. I must find a few more opportunities like that.
I had an enquiry about doing parties. I'm not sure about that but it has to be worth a try.

I've set up a google adwords account using the £30 voucher they have been offering. Now I log in almost once an hour to check how often my ad has displayed and to see if anyone has clicked.

Just as I have settled down to the summer break, I start getting emails asking for more of my silk scarves.. Hooray! It's not exactly going to make my fortune, but it is better than nothing.

I love my parcels. The things I sell are so pretty AND my supplier puts in sweet treats for me. I have put the two little packets of biscuits on the very top shelf in the food cupboards otherwise they will be gone before lunch.
The timing is excellent as my Marlborough customer rang last week asking for more but I was out of stock of the gift bags that go well with the pink tissue she wraps her stuff in. One of today's boxes contains those, so now I can deliver. Needless to say, every… Continue

I import mostly silk fabric, silk scarves and leaf skeletons from Thailand. My sales are mostly online. I'm hoping that Tazbar & Ebid will give eBay a run for their money. Monopoly is bad (unless it's my monopoly?)
